Born and raised in New York, Rob Morris discovered his passion for photography in high school, where he began honing his craft under the mentorship of renowned photographer and master black-and-white printer Frank Ditturi. Ditturi’s influence continues to shape Rob’s approach to composition, which remains a cornerstone of his visual style.
Following the events of 9/11, Rob relocated to California, where he spent several formative years assisting fashion, wedding, and commercial photographers. Immersed in their distinct disciplines, Rob absorbed a wide range of techniques and perspectives that helped refine his own creative vision.
Rob is known for his calm demeanor, easygoing attitude, and intuitive eye—qualities that make him a trusted collaborator on client shoots. His ability to problem-solve under pressure and adapt quickly to changing circumstances ensures a smooth experience and consistently strong results.
